Out of the blue,
Playing on the radio,
Familiar tune,
And back in time, in seconds.
Listened with eyes closed,
Body singing along in passionate rhythm,
And heard 'that' one song.
That lost song,
Stills the time,
Reminds you of that one day,
that one memory
Sudden rush of feelings otherwise lost.
And makes you re-live a moment.
Heart feels new and beat refreshed with rhythm
That lost song puts a smile on your face,
Soul feels calm and,
Gives the courage to move on with life.
